Registration for AMTA Smoke Tree Ranch 2026 is open.
Play tennis, dine, and relax around people who empathize with your work and life. The meeting is from Sunday afternoon, March 8 to Friday morning, March 13, 2026. The registration fee for AMTA attendees includes two Happy Hours (Monday and Thursday), court fees, balls, prizes and gifts, meeting rooms and audiovisual, and general meeting expenses. AMA Category 1 CME is available for no extra charge; Randy Eckert, MD is managing that.
Smoke Tree Ranch cottage and meal rates
Single or double occupancy in a studio or one-bedroom is $395.00 per cottage per night plus 12.5% city bed tax = $444.38. This is a small increase from last year. Five (5) breakfasts & four (4) dinners are $441.00 + tax per person = $481.80, which is the same as last year.
CME will be in the mornings.
Please let us know if you would like to give a lecture. Randy Eckert has arranged with the Texas Medical Association to certify AMA Category 1 CME credits for our lectures. We usually have 6 – 8 lectures from Monday through Thursday.
There will be a tennis mixer on Sunday afternoon starting at 3:30pm.
The tennis competition will take place at Smoke Treee Ranch and Palm Springs Tennis Club on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The tennis will start at 10:30 am and go until 5 pm. Phong will be running the show in his unique,excellent and efficient way. Tuesday is a free day, a good day for the BNP Paribas Open.
Smoke Tree Ranch is a quiet, secluded place in Palm Springs 10-15 minutes from the airport.
It is a pleasant place for a walk. You can lawn bowl, golf on a 3 hole putch and putt, and use the pool and hot tub. There are play grounds for children. There is a laundry room with 2 washers and 2 driers, so bring some laundry soap if you have those skills. You would be able to book a horse back ride from nearby stables. You can warm up in the work out rooms before your tennis. If you would rather eat, the food is tasty with great variety and plenty of it. The desserts are something you work out for every day.
