Palm Springs, California | March 7–12, 2027

Join us in Palm Springs for five days of tennis, CME, good food and the camaraderie that has made AMTA special for 60 years. The meeting begins Sunday afternoon, March 7, and concludes Friday morning, March 12, 2027.

The AMTA registration fee includes two Happy Hours (Monday and Thursday), CME for those participating, and all tennis expenses.

Smoke Tree Ranch

John and Cori Kirkpatrick brought us back to Smoke Tree Ranch in 2015, and we’re delighted to return again in 2027.

Registration for Smoke Tree Ranch is handled through the AMTA. Simply complete and return the AMTA Registration Form, and we will forward your lodging information to the Ranch.

Cottage Rates
Single or double occupancy in a studio or one-bedroom cottage is $410 per cottage, per night, plus the 13.5% Palm Springs bed tax, for a total of $465.35 per night.

Smoke Tree Ranch offers a large swimming pool, outdoor dining in a quiet and secluded setting, walking paths, laundry facilities, workout rooms and three pitch-and-putt golf holes. For tennis, we have exclusive use of two Har-Tru clay courts and four hard courts. Two pickleball courts are also available.

Meal Package

Guests staying at Smoke Tree Ranch will have a meal package that includes five breakfasts and four dinners, including our Opening and Closing dinners. All gratuities are included. The cost is $499.27, including tax, and is collected at checkout.

Those not staying at Smoke Tree Ranch will be responsible for the cost of the Opening and Closing dinners they attend. Those charges will be handled by the AMTA.

Tennis

We’ll kick things off with a tennis mixer at Smoke Tree Ranch on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.

Tournament matches will be played at Smoke Tree Ranch and the Palm Springs Tennis Club on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Tennis begins at 10:30 a.m., following the morning CME lectures, and continues until approximately 5 p.m.

Phong will once again be running the show. He has been involved with AMTA since before the millennium, so we’re in experienced hands!

Tuesday is a free day—and a perfect opportunity to head to Indian Wells and watch the pros at the BNP Paribas Open.

Celebrating 60 Years

The AMTA was founded in 1967, making 2027 our 60th anniversary. A lot has changed over those six decades—especially the tennis equipment—but the enjoyment of the game, the camaraderie and the benefits of staying active remain very much the same.

We hope you’ll join us in Palm Springs to celebrate 60 years of AMTA, reconnect with old friends and make some new ones.

We look forward to seeing you again—or welcoming you for the first time!
